Options

Options set the configuration of AGB5, including Scan Options, UI Options, and Update Options, etc.

Scan Option

Scan Option allows you to set scan options AGB5 according to your needs.



Action:
Decide when AGB5 find Trojan, what it should do, to report only, or to remove Trojan directly.

Select file type to scan:
If you select "EXE files only", AGB5 will only scan such files as ".exe, .com, .bat, .sys ".
If "All files " is selected, AGB5 will scan all files.
If you select "Scan package files", AGB5 will scan the compressed files such as RAR and ZIP.


Extend scan types:
In this function, the users can choose whether to delete types of harmful ware, including Risk Tool, Pornware, Password Tool, Remote Administer, Adware, and Net Tool.

Adware	The most common type of spyware associated with shareware is actually "adware," which displays banners or unwanted pop-up windows when running shareware. Adware may steal a lot of system resource and report personal information such as Internet browsing history to marketing companies. Unfortunately, in many cases the shareware you downloaded won't work without the spyware program it came with also installed.
Pornware	It is associated with some pornographic websites and entices users to run. And then it will dial-up and download the pornographic information automatically without informing users.
Net Tool	It is a net scanner and sniffer, which can detect and attack other computers.
Password Tool	Password break tool, but most users will not use this tool.
Remote Administer	A tool which allows other person to control your PC through Internet, but it may be the tool that you remotely control your computer.
Risk Tool	It may be a application used by some hackers or viruses to accomplish any purpose.

UI Option

The default User Interface is 'Expert UI'. If you change the default to 'Simple UI', you can click 'swicth', and it will be effective when you run AGB5 next time.

The users also can change the language which you selected in UI Option. At present, AGB5 only support U.S.English.



Update Option

AGB5 supports auto-update. In the update options, you can use the new Auto update and Background update. The user only needs to set the update time and frequency once, and then AGB5 will update automatically according to the settings.



Users can select "Use Auto-update" and set the update frequency, such as weekly or daily, and then set the detailed update time, that is, hour and minute. AGB5 will update automatically at that time.

AGB5 also supports the background update, that is, AGB5 will not effect your other operations as it is updating.
