Based on the principles of transparency, accessibility, usability, verifiability and perceptibility of security capabilities, Antiy releases weekly updates of the AVL SDK anti-virus engine and the full set of capabilities to the public every week.

Antiy AVL SDK anti-virus engine released a total of 84 virus database updates this week, with an average of 12 updates per day, adding 42 new detectable malicious code families, 14,720 new detectable malicious code variants, and 38,672 new detection rules.

It mainly spreads malicious programs through instant messaging software, malicious promotion on search engines, phishing emails, etc. It utilizes techniques such as “white plus black”, “memory execution Shellcode”, and “memory decryption Payload” to ultimately implant a remote control Trojan on the victim’s host.

3. Be on Guard Against These Virus Families This Week

Over the past week, monitoring has revealed that the SwimSnake (Silver Fox) cybercrime group has primarily been spreading its activities through phishing websites that impersonate the official websites of legitimate software (such as Deepseek, Sogou Input Method, and Todesk). Its main attack methods are as follows:

1. The initial payload is written in the Go programming language and releases multiple sets of “white + black” files to mislead analysts, using “white + black” techniques to load malicious components.

2. It creates multiple scheduled tasks and registry startup entries to achieve persistence.

3. It deploys the Winos 4.0 remote control Trojan, which possesses process injection and remote control capabilities and can terminate multiple security software programs.

Appendix: Introduction to Antiy AVL SDK Anti-Virus Engine

Antiy AVL SDK anti-virus engine is a threat detection capability middleware developed by Antiy for all architectures and system platforms. By embedding the AVL SDK, Antiy products and ecosystem partners’ products can acquire virus and malicious code detection capabilities, and receive continuous updates through the virus database.

Antiy automatically analyzes and processes over 2 million new file objects on average every day and releases a virus database update every two hours. It also provides support services such as cloud detection, cloud analysis, and computer virus encyclopedia.
